When you install energy-efficient windows in your new home or when remodeling in Calgary, you will be eligible for Alberta home improvement rebates of up to $1,500. To qualify for Alberta energy rebates, windows must have energy efficiency Alberta registration with the ENERGY STAR® designation. ENERGY STAR® is a program that is promoted and administered by agencies in Canada such as Energy Efficiency Alberta and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). This administration is under agreement with the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and goes back to 2001.

We will evaluate your windows and give you our estimate of the rebate you will likely receive. We will need you to provide photos of your old windows and the new ENERGY STAR® windows that we install. You will sign a customer release form, and when we are finishing installing your new energy-efficient windows, we will submit the necessary information including a detailed invoice and the U-values of both old and new ENERGY STAR® windows.
You will be able to expect to receive your rebate check inside of six to eight weeks after we submit the information.
